Cancellation Policy:

Your appointment time is valuable and has been reserved specifically for you. As therapists are in high demand, if it is necessary to reschedule/cancel your appointment, we require that you provide us with at least two (2) working days’ notice, to avoid being charged a cancellation fee.

If you forget / do not arrive for your appointment, a cancellation fee will apply, as set out below.

Cancellation fees:

    • More than 2 working days’ notice provided by client: no charge.
    • 1-2 working days’ notice provided by client: $85.
    • Less than 1 working days’ notice provided by client, including ‘Did Not Attend’: Full session fee applies.

Medicare

  • Medicare rebates are available under the “Better Access Initiative”. This is available to patients with an assessed mental disorder who would benefit from a structured approach to the management of their treatment needs. Mental disorder is a term used to describe a range of clinically diagnosable disorders that significantly interfere with an individual’s cognitive, emotional, or social abilities.
  • Medicare rebates are only available for sessions with the named client (in most cases the child) according to the Mental Health Care Plan (MHCP).
  • Rebates from Medicare for a standard appointment range from $61.80 – $141.85 per session (rebate is dependant on clinician).

Private Health Insurance Claims

Alternatively, you may wish to claim a rebate through your private health insurance.

Please check eligibility for psychology services with your health insurance provider prior to attending your first appointment.
